I wonder if the additive package is more potent on these frankenblends due to it settling on the bottom of the bottles. Milking them would give it time to drain out. It would be interesting to see a VOA.

Did you try swapping the filter to see if the rattle would go away?

I think you should try Amsoil SSO for those easy spin starts on cold mornings and longer OCIs. It may help resist "spin" off so that you can go longer without topping off.
