    I have always used plain old cheap DAWN dish wash detergent for system cleaner. Works better than most and has no caustic junk. Just put in a cup or 2 and drive a few miles before draining and flushing.

    Looks to me like corn picker gearbox grease. It is great for any sort of low speed gear box such as manual steering boxes.
