Food grade grease that will handle 572*F ALL day?

Any super high temp food grade greases out there. Needs to run at a constant 300*C (572*F) all day long. Right now we're using Shell's highest temp food grade rated grease and we're going through 2 tubes a day, turns to water and ends up on the floor. Shell is going to try some custom...

Amsoil BMK30 and EaBP-120 too big for 6.0L Ford?

I recently acquired the BMK30/EaBP120 combo for a price that was too good to pass up, I'd like to use it on my 6.0L Powerstroke. Other than finding a suitable place to mount the beast is there any problem running such a large system on a pickup truck?

Mobil1 Synthetic ATF did not work in Mercon V app.

I have an '06 F-150 FX4 4x4. I flushed the trans at 30,000 miles with M1 Syn ATF. No problems for about the firt 1000 miles, then I started to notice a few things. From park to reverse pulling out of my driveway the engagement started to become rough. 1st to 2nd shift got to the point where I...

    Luber-Finer?

One of our fleet vans wen't though a drive-in lube joint and was given a Luber-finer filter and whatever bulk barrel oil they used. When I later changed the oil myself it was remarkable how clean the oil was on drain, and the van was 1000 miles overdue. I'm used to seeing the oil come out of...

Love the SSO in cold temps!

-30C cold starts and I've never seen the pressure snap up so quick! I'm confident that my engines' 4 balls are completely protected :) We'll see how the SSO tests in the lab compared to the Mobil1 EP 5w30 I've been using prior.

    What's a thicker subsitiute for ATF in a 5spd?

My old 1990 F250HD 4x4 has a REALLY worn out trans. The trans calls for ATF, which I change yearly. The problem is when the trans is cold it shifts great, but as it keeps warming up the shifting gets extremely heavy and notchy. My guess is the fluid is to thin for the lose clearances and likely...

My results with Lucas UCL and synthetic oils...

Just some observations... I have an '06 Ford F150 FX4 w/5.4L A/T 40,000kms. Since I've owned the truck I seeing consistant fill ups at 550kms, or right when the low fuel light comes on. Since using UCL and changiing my entire driveline to Mobil1 synthetics I've been getting consistant fill ups...
