Hello, I am trying to understand how hths works with different oil weights, and if it varies with temperature. Please bear with me, as I am a newbie . My car specs out 20 weight, which in general will have a lower hths than a 30 weight, which in turn will have a lower hths than a 40 weight etc...

I'm all the way down in Orange. Don't get up that way alot. Sometimes Palmdale though...I'll check out the AZ's when I'm there. Thanks for the info.

Hello all, I'm looking for a spray can filled with something that will keep metal from rusting. Something that lasts long term, and isn't greasy. Something much better than wd40 or white lithium grease. Also it should be plastic friendly. Any suggestions? Thanks

I have a friend who has been in the garage door business for 30 years. He uses a white lithium grease from Genie in a squeeze tube and runs a bead along the screw. I'm pretty sure it's just plain white lithium grease. Not sure if that is the ultimate grease to use, but that is what Genie uses.

Maintenance minder read at 0%. I would have dumped it long ago, but I figure that Honda knows best (I hope).. So jeez...what's a guy to do. The Mobil 0w-20 was the same price as the 5w-20, so I figure since it has a lower pour point that it has more of the true synthetic stuff in it.

Gotta have good insurance in California. And...uninsured/underinsured coverage is a must. People out here just don't know how to drive, and driver training is no longer taught in the high schools where I live..

Ain't that the truth... This car replaces a 1993 Isuzu Trooper with 250,000 miles that ran perfectly... Hit by a teenager... Auto totaled... Only got $3500 out of it That car would have just kept on running.
