the oil spec for mb bluetec diesel is 229.52 which is 0w30 and 5w30 which seems thin to me. the previous spec was 229.51 which allowed for 0w30 5w30 0w40 and 5w40 i am personally using amsoil 5w40 diesel oil 09 gl320 bluetec
