I wish I had seen this post last week. I just ordered $200 worth of Amsoil products for myself and some friends, sorry I couldn't help you out.

I put Amsoil 5W-30 in my RX-7. The rotary hasn't complained and the all-important engine temps are down a few degrees. As I'm not far from Superior, WI I can't argue about the quick shipping either

This will be in a Wrangler along with Amsoil 10W-30. I think I'll go with your suggestion and make an order tomorrow. Thanks!

What's your opinion of them? I'm leaning towards SX-UP because there seems to be high regard for Specialty Formulations on this board, and I trust you guys a whole lot more than a label on a bottle.

I would be interested to see how SX-UP fairs against Torco's MPZ. I'm undecided between the two...

Different engine design but my 1.3L rotary is outputting 470HP (twin-turbo). There are also a lot of *small* litre engines running in Forumula 1 that would destroy my rotary. As for 4-cylinders lasting long many people are getting in excess of 300,000 miles off the in-line four's found in Jeep...
