    DID Chain problems

In regards to x and o ring chains would the age of them have anything to do with service life? Just curious. Mine is almost 12 years old.

I have run 15w40 rotella, straight brigss brand 30 weight oil and who knows what inbetween. Its a serious oil burner and has been for the last 3-4 years...

    Lower Priced Indian Models

I kinda like this new Scout. The only thing that bugs me is how large the radiator is. I bet this thing will be a real sportster killer. I would love to see a test between the Scout, Honda CB1100, and Sportster 1200. All very different in how they go about things but a similar market. Maybe even...

3300 new Harleys recalled for excessive vibration

I had on of the last rigid mount sporsters and I have never in my life seen anything vibrate like it did. It was almost unrideable and that is why I dont own it anymore. The vibration caused all sorts of havoc.

    Turbo 2.0L 4cylinders - Beat V6s? (Ecoboost, etc.)

I have not been a huge fan of Fords turbo engines because they simply dont seem to deliver mileage in the real world. However, the new 2.7V6 TT in the new F150 may be a game changer. Time will tell of course. Really like what Mazda has done overall. They are one of the best kept secrets imo in...

kohler 7000 series vs Kawasaki FR series

Well, I posted this also on a small engine forum and one of the the guys there that I really respect his opinions said the Kaw FR series was the worst engines Kaw has ever made. The guy is well respected and a mechanic by trade and works on all sorts of small engines. I dont know what to do...

kohler 7000 series vs Kawasaki FR series

Possibly finally looking at getting a new mower soon and trying to do some home work. Looking at a Gravely zero turn right now. Its offered with both of these engines. I think in a 52 inch cut the Kohler is a 25hp and the Kaw is a 23 hp. Things change so quick and names and series numbers...

    2014 Mazda 3

I am wondering if anybody has one of these and what their thoughts are. The compact segment is ultra competitive and I find myself not being able to determine the best value. I would only be interested in a manual transmission car of any make. I want no part of Fords DCT, or Hondas CVT. The...

    My horrible battery luck

Last year I had to buy a new battery for my riding mower. The old one was about 4-5 years old give or take. No biggie. I go to Lowes and get a new one. It lasted about 2 weeks and it went bad. So, I took it back and they gave me a new one. Its about 12 months old now and out of warranty of...

    Honda 750 oil air cooled

I have a 2003 Honda 750 I4 air cooled motorcycle and I put Rotella 15w40(white jug) in it. The shifting seems a little clunky and clumsy to me. It could be just me but I dont know. Just wondering if there may be a better alternative? Uses no oil. Runs great but I just got it a while back and am...

    Mobile Delvac or Rotella?

Just curious which may be better on an air cooled HOnda 750. I am running Rotella right now with no gripes. But, I have seen some really good reports on Delvac too. Is one any better than the other or is it a toss up? What do you think a reasonable interval would be on a Honda 750 inline 4...
