If I get a chance, I will cut off the end caps and spread it out.

It is stitched and when I try and pull it apart, it isn’t tearing and none of the surrounding media is compromised. Hope that helps.

Same filter went on with Motomaster 0w40.

Honestly this is the first Mann that has looked like this since I’ve owned the car( 2018). To me it seems a little to wide.

Replaced with Mobil 0w40 and Hengst E358HD246.

Any pros or cons to either design?

I have the Hengst H345W in there now. I will cut it open in September. Stay tuned.

Yes completely different.

Cars doing just fine on 0w30. Had it in the garage and used it. The Engine Thankfully didn’t explode. 😂
