Buying some new combination wrenches soon

I've noticed a lot of stuff on amazon is noted as China for COO, even for things that are known to be made elsewhere. Maybe Amazon just assumes everything is

    Driver Side Axle seal replacement

Can't speak to the accord specifically, but I've swapped axle seals on other FWD vehicles and they're replaced from the outside. I would put a little lube on the seal to help it seal better. Shouldn't need to drive it in, may damage it that way.

Buying some new combination wrenches soon

I've got an okay set of SAE combo wrenches but I find myself needing metric a LOT more now that I've got different vehicles than I did a year ago. I usually just borrowed my dad's since I would always work in his garage, now that I live in a different city it means borrowing my father in laws...

Buying some new combination wrenches soon

I'm going to be in the market for some metric combination wrenches very shortly. I've been looking at a few different sets and I'm pretty much settled for why could be considered 'mid tier' I suppose. I've looked at Wright, Armstrong, SK, and Williams; they're all almost identical in price at...

    AC pressure, compressor not running

I normally don't touch AC systems, but long story short, shop wanted $1000 to replace compressor and condenser when the only part that had failed was the compressor clutch. I replaced it myself and it's working great. My wife's cousin was over today as I was working on my wife's car and said her...

    Vehicle registration

Well that's a shame. Out of curiosity, would there be a tax levied against my Ranger if I were to bring that? Also, my wife bought her car in California before we met, that shouldn't incur any additional tax I hope. As for income, we arent too worried. We're going to be in Bakersfield, the...

    Vehicle registration

Regarding the issue of registration, it sounds like it may be best to wait until we're settled before we handle that. Maybe I'll purchase a trip permit in OR.

Sales tax even if it's bought out of state? Would that still be applicable if I were to register in OR? That way I would be arriving with a vehicle I already owned in another state. Surely they wouldn't tax something I already owned, I would hope. They going to tax my furniture too?
