Royal Purple has a really nice 0W-40 which will give great service in cold weather and hold up well in hot.

You want cold starting as well as an oil that will hold up well in midwest summer heat: Mobil 1 in 0W-40

Seriously, I have come to believe the issue with some people's oil stashes is a fear that the manufacturer is going to cheapen the formulation and somehow weaken the product. Look how some BITOG'ers still nearly worship the old green GC, feeling the new amber is not up to the former's quality.

Ah, the 10111C08A 5590! It is excellent with the white meats or a stuffed haddock fillet. Should be served mildly chilled but not ice cold. I suggest one finish the meal with a bread pudding and fine liqueur such as Drambuie.

I will stick to M1 0W-40 in all my vehicles and tractor. I just wish they sold it in gallon or 5 quart bottles like all the other M1 formulations.
