It amazed me that a car and engine of this quality and horse power specked a run of the mill oil and called for 0w20. You would think 700 horse power would call for something better.

Mobile 1, ESP is a great oil, and I think the low SAPS helps the vale deposits in a direct injection engine. I have run it in my 2.0 turbo Buick since new, and the results are great. It is not cheap, but as in most things in life, you get what you pay for. If you stock up when it goes on sale...

I am looking for a synthetic oil filter for my 2021 GMC 2500 HD with a 6.6 Duramax diesel. GM # is PF26 and the Fram # is PH 2. Fram do not make an ultra and so far I am using NAPA gold, 100454. I would like to run a better filter. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Roger

I run Mobil 1 ESP 5W30 in my GM 2.0, because it is a low SAPS oil. It might help the carbon build up on the valves of your direct injection engine. It is not cheap, but it is considered one of the best oils in the world by many, including me. Roger

That is not a XG. It is the wrong number, it is way to small and why are you asking about gas?
