Is there any difference between pouring it in through the brake line and just pulling of the pcv and pouring it through that for the "normal" application?

Probably because it's 20 bucks a bottle, Turbo. But I think that it is well worth the extra 4 or 5 bucks you will drop on the cost of the maintenance dose to have that added peace of mind
