I'm a avid mechanic and not afraid to tackle even the most technical issue. you tube has greatly expanded my knowledge and has helped me out of a bind more time that I can count. However we have to educate ourselves with the quality of merchandise. Lately I have been burned by well known manufacturers with junk merchandise that use to be as good as OEM. If they advertise meets or exceeds OEM specifications , the component should last as long or longer than OEM and most dont. When I finally tire and buy the OEM part, it lasts as long as the original OEM did, it. Made in China (or any other country) should not be a bad thing. Its about economy engineered parts labeled as OEM Spec and sold at the expense of the consumer. This is why I am joining this forum, to share and gain knowledge and experiences on this subject, as well as others.
