Can you break in those engines with regular conventional 10w30 with high ZDDP?
I think to remember having read somewhere that back in the days there was no such thing as break in oil
because the regular oil was good enough for the job.
I guess because of the way higher ZDDP content it had back than.
So lets say i got a conventional 10w30 oil with high zddp (specifications...
I just purchased the car and its on its way to germany right now.
It will arrive in a few weeks.
I figured it would be a good idea to perform a big service including the change of all fluids bevor any serious driving.
But im not an oil expert so this is why i started this thread.
