    Pennzoil myth or fact ?

Thanks for all the inputs. This all started when I noticed that my tranny was getting a little grind when cold and notchy when shifting. So I searched the fourms at the Probe site and realized that there are alot of different opinons about manual tranny fluid. Now I know that I'm twice the age...

    Recommended oil ......

for my 73' 455. It has a mild cam, 1:65 Comp cams, daily driver. I see 15-40 oil pops up alot, in the fourms here. Is that the way to go? The previous owner only put in 10w-40 Valvoline. Any thoughts? Low milage motor after rebuild, less than 5000 miles.
