That is a sharp rifle! Have you shot it yet? Go out west and drop a few mule deer with it. Anything you want you can get with that caliber. If it kicks a little much you could always buy a twin in say 270 or 308. I had a 300 win bolt rifle and it was unpleasant to shoot but then again i bought...
I see noone stated the plain ol wadcutters are good also. I have the same 38 as you and i prefer a jacketed soft point +p load. The 38 in general does not have the velocity to reliably expand hollow points unless a solid object is hit ie bone. The old nyclad rounds were wadcutter bullets that...
The best caliber for deer hunting is the one you can hit with. More deer are killed with a 30/30 than any other caliber. The fit of the rifle is more important than the caliber. I prefer a good recoil reducing pad and a little stock work on most rifles i buy for serious hunting. Optics are...
I wouldnt say that an RTV is a Mule Rip Off, more like say a Mitsubishi clone. Rtv is wider, longer, heavier. They arn't fast but they do get from a to b. I wouldnt go hill climbing with it but i would say that 4 low with the diff locked in should go places.
Found some of this for a cheap price for my bike. It is a heavy duty diesel oil but it has the older ch-4 rating. I wonder if this has 400 ppm of moly like the old penz long life diesel oil. I havent found any voa's on this oil so should i use it in my bike anyway which has a shared sump.
Hello to all. I now own a 1986 Yamaha Venture. Nice big bike, 1300 cc liquid cooled engine around 27000 miles. The manual says use Yamalube 20/40 oil or 10/30 type se motor oil. I wonder if all that 30 wt dello i have will work. How about 10/40 pcmo oil or do i just go out and buy come 15/40...
At my job we have many Kubota rtv 900's that we use to drive around the yard to perform our work.( I'm sure that if you look at my username, you can guess where i work.) Sometimes they run for days at a time and are only shut off for maintenance. The unit that i have been driving has over 8000...
Briggs used to get real funny acting about syn oil til they saw the profit potential, remember only use their 5/30 syn as it is made for briggs engines only. I have torn down a few engines that looked really beat up but i have found that the exaust valves were carboned up realy bad but very...
The oil color is dark but i can read the markings on the dipstick. The oil is not burnt smelling. It is not nearly as dark as the oil was in my old ford pre powerstroke diesel when it only had 3000 miles on its oil. I forgot to mention that i have to add 1 quart every 3000 miles to keep my oil...
