Can I bleed all 4 brakes at once?

I forgot to mention that I am gravity bleeding with 4 silicone hoses and 4 bottles. Will it drip too slowly to move air? My lines usually bleed fast.

Can I bleed all 4 brakes at once?

I can't think of any logical reason why not, other than the reservoir draining 4x faster, and the fact that there is a bleed order for my car (which many people go by a different, unofficial order).

Friend's STi was 3.5 quarts low

My friend bought an 07 STi with 70k miles two months ago. I checked his oil today and the dipstick was dry. I told him to fill up from the 10 quarts of Valvoline Ultra 10w30 he has in his room, before starting the car again. He insisted on buying 5w30, since it is recommended. Whatever. Anyway...

May I switch to silicone for clutch?

I'm on my second clutch master cylinder at 62k miles and it is starting to drip into the footwell. On my replacement, I have never gone more than 2 months without doing a gravity bleed. The fluid (ATE SL.6) kept getting dark within 2 weeks of bleeding, so I switched to a quality DOT 3. It still...

    Ran engine dry

I would rather expose problems now than on the track. Nothing wrong with reving it that high when the oil is warm.

    Ran engine dry

S2000 engines have very high oil pressure. 36 psi at idle (800 rpm) and 85 psi at 3k rpm. It idles at 2k cold. I tightened the oil filter, but I'm guessing the gasket touching the block was pinched into an oval, creating a space for oil to shoot out. What sucks is that I keep my engine bay so...

    Ran engine dry

Thanks for the support everyone. I have never seen such quick replies. I have changed my oil many times and have never made this mistake. I am going to do my first UOA on this engine to make sure everything is okay.

    Ran engine dry

I changed my oil and started the engine. After a few seconds, I heard a knocking sound and saw smoke. I turned off the engine and saw a puddle of fresh oil on the floor. The old filter gasket was still on the block, under the new gasket. I cleaned it up and refilled my oil. It took 5.5-6 quarts...

    2005 honda accord oil reccomendation

The engine will outlast the car, so worry more about changing the brake and trans fluid frequently. I used to have an 02 Accord. The automatic transmission had almost competely failed at 150k miles. At this time, I brought it in for a smog check and the tech told me that his computer gave him a...

    Flushed Clutch - Really Surprised

I replaced both my MC and SC a few weeks ago and my clutch fluid is already dark. Is this the new seals breaking in, or should I replace the rubber brake line too?

    EBC Green vs HAWK HPS

I have always washed my cars once a week, occasionally less. I clean my wheels every time. I am just sharing two real experiences I had with metallic compound pads. I do not understand how that is foolish. But if you do not regularly push your brakes to the point of fading like I do, I would not...
