Would anyone know what classes or curriculum a person needs to take to get on the road to becoming a tribologist? And what are the different areas that one could specialize in, in tribology? I would like to start taking night classes and get into tribology. Thank you

I was told by an Amsoil dealer that the EaA air filters also have better air flow as they get loaded (compared to other brand air filters) based on the Knudsen theory. The particles sitting on the nano material act like an air foil, or like an airplane wing creates lift. Kind a makes sense, i guess

There is a handfull of companies that let you access Data sheets right on their websites, with a simple click of the button. But some companies won't let that information out unless you contact them and then eventually get hoohed up with a salesman. As if they are not proud of their formulation...

Have never, ever, seen a problem with a Sealed Power filter. SP is a big OEM supplier and what everyone tries to copy.

Would anyone know where i can get a technical data sheet on Sullairs Sullube 32(p/n 250022-670)? Sullair does not publish them on their website. I want to compare it to two other oils we now use in our plant. Thanks

Why do the dealers always reccommend against using synthetic in this motor? 3 now have told me not to use it. Also, on some websites, in the FAQ section, they say most manufacturers don't reccommend synthetic and that the petroleum oils work adequately....but if you are going to go with...

Its a bit expensive, but as cleaning solvent in the solvent tank......it's the best, and lasts. It sure beats the Stoddard type solvents and the lame Eco-friendly type solvents. But, like i said, 30 gallons in my solvent tank is expensive.

Rigby, did you use mobils 0W-30 or the "race" 0W-30 in the Acura?
