I just bought some 5 w 30 conventional oil at rural king for 1.89. It says Warren on the bottle and is an SN classification. Their website says it is Citgo but is still SM. any ideas?

I used qs 5w20 in my wife's Santa Fe and it was noisy on start up. Same thing with the 5 w 30 I used in my silverado. Two out of two negatives for me, but it was the bulk pack oil at Wally World so maybe there is a difference between that and what they put in the bottle.

I am very curious about why Alan says there could be disaster for the tranny on the Corolla if you do a simple drain and fill. What problems could this cause? I would think some new fluid would be better than all old fluid. Help!!!!
