I have been using 100LL av Gas in my small engines. It is ethanol free, lasts along time, and smells like race fuel. It has been working well for my non-catalyst applications. What are your opinions?

Be very careful with "universal" tractor fluid. Some of these Cat powershift transmissions call for oil with friction modifier. You don't have to run genuine cat oil, just make sure you use an EQUIVALENT!

I think you will find that 3054 Cat engine will call for a 250 hour oil change interval. That's what our 1998 416c calls for.I use a Baldwin BT 216 filter and 7qt. of Kendall 15w40. Is the 500 hr interval for synthetic oil?
