    2009 Honda Fit Sport 1.5L - 4,818 OCI - 150,000 miles - Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 5W-20

Just had the Fit's valves done a hundred miles ago. Feels like a brand new car now.

    2009 Honda Fit Sport 1.5L - 4,818 OCI - 150,000 miles - Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 5W-20

FWIW, I've only ever had "A 1" come up, which is oil and tire rotation, in the 30,000 miles we've had it. That said, valves should have been adjusted at 100,000. We haven't done it yet, and they definitely need it. As for any sort of maintenance schedule, I've never found anything official. I...

I've thought about this as well, whenever it's time to get oil. However, I know it works, so there's that. Yeah! I don't know the impact of if any of those are outside the range, but I was impressed by that as well.

    2009 Honda Fit Sport 1.5L - 4,818 OCI - 150,000 miles - Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 5W-20

It appears that there are 8 spark plugs on the 1.3L Fit/Jazz.

Those are the only ones I've seen. I went through the process of removing the cowl and everything. There aren't other spark plugs besides those 4 on the back.

    2009 Honda Fit Sport 1.5L - 4,818 OCI - 150,000 miles - Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 5W-20

What?! Oh, boy... I installed spark plugs just 300 miles after we bought it, and only did four. Watched several videos, because I'd never had to remove unrelated parts of the vehicle to do spark plugs before and wanted to make sure I did it right. All the videos show only four. Where are the...

    2009 Honda Fit Sport 1.5L - 4,818 OCI - 150,000 miles - Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 5W-20

I've been using Pennzoil Ultra Platinum pretty much since it came out. It hasn't gotten easier to find, and perhaps has gotten more difficult to find, depending on the viscosity or weight. As such, we have bounced back and forth between 0W-20 and 5W-20. We've had this vehicle for 4 years /...

    How do these fluids look?

Figured out how I'm going to store all this equipment in my apartment. Husky (Home Depot) has an awesome mobile tool chest system. Going to get the base unit and keep most stuff in there (funnels, bottle jack, stands, etc.). As for where to do the maintenance... I have another friend who wants...

    How do these fluids look?

Y'all are right up my thought process. I'm definitely going to change out the fluids. It's a bit tough right now, though. This is our first time owning a vehicle since having moved into an apartment in the city. It's illegal to change fluids on the street, so I've gotta find someone to let me...

    How do these fluids look?

I recently purchased a 2009 Honda Fit with 120,500 miles on it, with decent records of maintenance. Not great, not terrible. Car runs well, but within the first week I had to replace the spark plugs, which had blow-by on cylinders 2, 3, 4. I really want to take care of this car. It's been a...
