Mobil 1 10W-40, BMW OEM filter.

Mobil 1 until the age of e-commerce. I've purchased countless gallons of Mobil 1 10W-40. For the last several years, I've purchased the cheapest LL-01 oil I can find in the most convenient quantities.

Since I've already got M1 Synthetic ATF in the power steering systems of two cars, I decided to just move forward with another box of that.

The two cheapest synthetic ATF fluids I can find are Mobil 1 Synthetic ATF ($8.28 per quart with tax) and Citgo TransGuard Dexron VI ($5.33 per quart with tax). How do these two fluids compare? Is there any reason to choose the M1 over the Citgo? The cars I'd use them in are all 1990s BMWs...
