Brake Fluid for 2020 BMW M2C with Sport Brakes

Thank you for your reply. I could not find anywhere to download the ISO 4925 specification, but I found this table: To give credit where credit is due, the table is from New Class 6 and Class 7 brake fluids are here. I was looking at ECS Tuning and Turner Motorsport because I normally get...

Oil Change Interval for 2020 M2C

My car has 44k kms. I'm the second owner. I bought the car a year ago. I have the service history and the oil was changed at 2055 km, 10517 km, 24045 km, 36633 km, 41218 km (oil only, to replace the pan gasket). I changed the oil and filter at around 43k kms in October when it was called up by...

Brake Fluid for 2020 BMW M2C with Sport Brakes

Thank you for the replies. I will definitely get LV fluid. This car is the most tail-happy vehicle I've ever driven. I drive it in sport plus mode all the time. Even with MDM rather than DSC, stability control gets engaged often.

Brake Fluid for 2020 BMW M2C with Sport Brakes

My car has 44k kms and it's notifying me that the brake fluid needs to be replaced. It was previously replaced in May 2022 at 33.6k kms. I don't drive often, but I live in the Pacific Northwest, so it's often rainy. According to RealOEM.com, BMW has two part numbers for my car: 83132184843...

    Oil Recommendation Subaru FB20D / 2021 Crosstrek and Honda J35Z8 (2015 Odyssey)

I usually use Amsoil (where applicable) and their recommendation for both engines is 0W-20 (Signature). Subaru specifies 0W-20, but I've heard that these engines can experience fuel contamination and high oil consumption. The particular vehicle has around 45k kms and is not using oil. Honda...

AMSOIL EFM or EFO for 2014 ML 350 M276

Thank you for your reply. It rarely gets colder here than -5 to -10C. Aside from the lower pour point, the oils look fairly similar, probably not worth the price difference.

AMSOIL EFM or EFO for 2014 ML 350 M276

I just picked up a 2014 ML 350 with an M276 (FLEX) engine. I have a box of AMSOIL EFM left over from the 2002 ML 320 that I sold. I was looking on the AMSOIL website for the first time in a while and I noticed they now have FS 0W-40 EFO. EFO has MB 229.1,229.3, 229.5 applications as opposed to...

    2008 Honda 2.4L Engine Cold-Start Rattling

There is a service bulletin, 09-010, Engine Rattles at Cold Start-Up, dated March 17, 2016, about this issue. It describes the symptom and includes the procedure to replace the VTC actuator. There is a new part number for the VTC actuator (p/n 14310-R5A-305) which supposedly fixes this problem...

Which oil and OCI for BMW B46O engine?

I found an article in newTIS.info which I will take to be the authoritative words of BMW, for what that's worth. Here is a link: Enclosure 3 to SI 11 07 96 (138), issue 09/2009; update 07/2016. It states that the B38 / B46 / B48 (without particulate filter) / B58 and N20 / N26 may use...
