I purchased a cheap receiver tube front driveshaft for my old toyota truck. I'm a little worried that it wont slip under torque and I also don't want the grease running out and spraying the road or undercarriage. What brand would you recommend? Would a heavy moly or graphite grease work best?
I've used PP 10w30 with good results, although some thought a TBN of 3 was low after 4,100 miles. Got some Mobil1 0w40 in there right now. I'd like to also share that I don't use the Nissan branded lubes because I think they're all overpriced. If your Xterra is an automatic then I recommend...

First UOA on my '05 Nissan Frontier that's currently running Mobil1 0w-40. No make up oil was added. I'll most likely extend interval to 5,500 miles as advised and switch back to the Platinum.

Subaru dealerships sell Idemitsu ATF HP fluid for their 5 speed automatics and it's an exact equivalent to the Matic J fluid. It's also more reasonably priced, costing around $6.40 a quart. I've been using it in my '05 Frontier without any problems.
