trying to narrow down which tire dressing

It definitely works and it last a couple weeks at least although I tend to wash my car every week.

trying to narrow down which tire dressing

I like the Meg's Natural Shine for my tires. I suppose its actually intended for interior use but it gives the perfect shine for my tires. I like for the tire to look brand new rather than shiny and greasy. Thats just my preference and the Natural Shine is perfect for it.

    Chevy 6.0

6.0 is a great engine. I have yet to know someone that has had a problem with a GEN III/IV V-8 that didn't involve abusing it(spraying nitrous, boosted, etc.). Also, having built these engines I can tell you they are stout with 6-bolt mains and stock cranks that can take upwards of 1000hp...

Is the Corvette next to go out of business?

People like to jump on the bandwagon that cars like corvettes are bad for the environment inefficient etc. Well the fact of the matter is they get 30+mpg and aren't some huge polluter. There have been more than one study that proved driving a corvette or even a hummer for 5 years doesn't even...

Best wheel protectant for bare aluminum

Anybody ever use Zoops seal? Its made for this exact thing however I think you would need to re-apply every few years. I have American Racing Torque Thrusts on my Chevelle and I know what a pain it is to keep them polished (mothers powerball is your friend) but they look good when they are...

Oil Change on Brand New Car...when?

Not the same as a new car engine but for what its worth I rebuilt an LS1 before I swapped it into my chevelle. I used dino oil(Castrol GTX 5w30) and changed it at 500 and at 1000 put GC in it. I cut open the filter after the 500 mile change and it had ALOT of metal shavings in it. I would not...

    Danica in F1

Here is a link to an article about it and some more video:http://www.nascar.com/2003/news/headlines/wc/06/12/jgordon_montoya/index.html Gordon was 1.3 seconds off montoya's fastest time at Indy I stand corrected.

    Danica in F1

Does anybody remember the "tradin paint" show done on the speed chanel probably 7 years ago? The premise of the show was that Jeff Gordon swapped rides with a F1 driver but for the life of me I can't remember who. At any rate, Jeff Gordon drove the F1 car to only a few tenths shy of qualifying...

best oil for 402 stroker motor?

My guess would be an LS2 based engine since 402 is a common stroker displacement on those engines.
