Got 2009 Dodge Ram QQTD 4x4 with AAM 9.5 up front & 11.5 rear differentials with stock covers, pretty sure oem is 75/90 GL5, no LS additive
It's time for a differential oil change and could use some info on which oil is best? I tow a 10k load about 3k miles a year....so which of these is best...

If you really tow heavy in hot weather I might try the Delvac SAE50/ Amsoil synchro mesh combo again with out the accidental over fill and see if it shifts better because it kept...

If all of your hardware is in good shape, it's your caster.
Best Info on Dodge Death Wobble you'll find
According to Don Thuren here are the caster & toe settings to eliminate DW in the heavier Dodge Ram QC 4x4 diesel trucks:
Caster: 3.7 to 4.5 degrees POSITIVE. Heavier trucks 3.8 to 4.0
Toe: 0.00-0.05 Degrees (Not inches)

Zeng, Viscosity is all about the same according to their SDS/MSDS. There all right about 86/14-15 Cst.
And I know the MTG was airated severely, as when i came out there where tons of bubbles/foam in it through I hadn't moved the vehicle in at least 3 or 4 days. I had to wipe the foam off the...
Wanted to update this thread.
O2SE...You where right! Part of the problem was overfill beyond the acceptable extra, see below.
Drained the Amsoil MTG and found out that it was overfilled by about a quart to quart & a half OVER my overfill. So my 7.5 quarts was actually 8.5 to 9 quarts and the...

Hers's the Virgin Blackstone from Carbonite Cummins using the old silver bottle with the blue cap, quite different.
So this is interesting.
Someone posted your VOA in my thread about the Mobil Delvac synthetic transmission fluid 50
https://www.bobistheoilguy.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/topics/4940313/1
BUT after looking at it in comparison to the Blackstone VOA done on the 5 fluid comparison...
Does someone have a VOA on the Torco RTF? One that might include sulfur PPM content?
Since it is GL5/GL6 with "EP Additives" according to it's tech dates sheet, I'm wondering how much Sulfur it has in it?
Seems kind of ghost townish here now that I've provided all the information, no answers to the question again.
Guess nobody on here knows nothing, must be magic fairy dust like I speculated earlier?
How about anyone have a VOC analysis on the Mobil delvac 1 synthetic transmission fluid 40?
Ok so I've got some new information that could use some clarification on.
1) I've read that Sulfur eats copper alloys including brass, AKA sulfur eats brass synchros, id this correct?
2) I was told be a tech at Mobil that Delvac 1 Transmission Fluid 50 has a GL-4 sulfur based EP additive...
